EUROPEAN ECONOMIC INTEGRATION

T.1.5. Teaching activity: EUROPEAN ECONOMIC INTEGRATION

The course is designed to introduce the student in the Europeanisation process, by presenting the key moments of the creation of the European Union, its institutions and policies, as well as the enlargement process. Moreover, special focus will be carried on the single market and its 4 liberties – the free movement of goods, capital, services, and labour, as the single market has been at the core of the creation of the EU and it has been going through a deep and irregular progress, so that the analysis of the causes and consequences that led to EU are highly important for the student to understand the mechanism of the European space. The second part of the course will be organized in 3 modules, depending on the field of specialization of the students (medical, technical or third countries).
