T.1.3. Teaching activity: MANAGEMENT OF THE STRUCTURAL AND INVESTMENT FUNDS
The Romania’s integration in the European Union created new opportunities for almost all the organizations and individuals through the structural and cohesion funds. The novelty of these aspects became one of the most important problems in the first years after the accession, people involved in such projects and potential beneficiaries needing specific abilities and professional competences. The main objective of this discipline is to offer the necessary information regarding the national framework for implementing the structural and cohesion funds in Romania, the institutions involved, the mechanisms and the procedures used in this field. The discipline is designed to improve the professionals’ abilities in making more efficient the process of using the money allocated through the structural and cohesion funds, regarding the institutions responsible for this, but also the potential beneficiaries, not being important the nature of the organization.
