ABOUT THE PROJECT

The project aims to create a favourable framework for studying important aspects related to the EU single market, the particularities, opportunities and challenges offered by the EU business environment, the factors influencing the resilience of the EU companies, the financing opportunities available for the Romanian companies etc. It aims to offer general information regarding the EU integration process for various categories of beneficiaries, including medical and technical students, professionals in different fields, policymakers, entrepreneurs and managers, consultants etc., and also relevant information in order to develop the professional competences of the students in Economic Sciences; to deepen the theoretical issues less treated in traditional disciplines and the orientation to more specific information, knowledge and abilities, linked to the particular aspects implied by doing business on the EU market; to combine the theoretical and practical aspects, essential for the approached domain, as long as the Romanian economists have to activate in a new environment, with more factors affecting their business; to create a link between academia and the general public (entrepreneurs, businessmen and economists); to find conclusions that will contribute to increase the efficiency of the EU policies with relevance for the small and medium enterprises and of the procedures and mechanisms applied for the implementation of the structural and investment funds; to find new research directions and improve the abilities of the Romanian young researchers in studying the new economic environment post-accession. There are planned activities and deliverables, as follows: teaching activities, books, scientific papers, newsletters, website, roundtables, study visits, seminars etc.
